COMMUNITY EDUCATION

One of our aims, as part of our guiding principles, is to help develop the communities we are operating in. Something as simple as an one hour class could entirely change someone’s life. Many Ghanaians in the communities we are reaching out to do not have access to learning about topics that would dramatically improve the quality of their lives. In addition to changing lives, helping educate the communities on what happens on the lake is an effort to help prevent the cycle of forced child labor from recurring.

We hold seminars monthly within the community. Topics vary within health and hygiene, in addition to education on what happens on Lake Volta.
